  1. It was interesting giving EPICAC human emotions, I have heard that in other stories though. The most interesting part was having EPICAC commit suicide. It made it a fairly dark story but it also brought EPICAC to a human level. Several people have dealt with love and suicide but never a robot deal. Sci Fi seems to seperate humans and robots by emotions. The aspect of suicide made the robot human to me, not just a robot with a vague understanding of love.

  2. i thought that this story was really cool because it gave the robot or big computer human emotions which you dont usually see a lot in stories. the most interesting part of the was the conversations the computer and the guy had together

  3. This story shows that even though robots are made of metal and wires, they can still love. They still have feeling and get depressed when something doesn't go their way.

  4. It seems that EPICAC's human emotions were interesting because it could write poens even though its just a giant computer. Our computers are pretty much more advanced then Epicac in the story and they can't think on their own besides spellcheck which doesn't even know what which or there you are supposed to use.

  5. the machine is ridiculously complicated but im kinda confused as to how it was created because the creator of the computer seemed so crushed when it died. is it something that is basically irreplaceable? or was it just hard to create. it never really went into detail about that but it knew that the robot was doing all that stuff for itself the second i read it. it was pretty predictable i thought

  6. I really liked this story when we read it and it had me thinking when i went home, i even had a dream about the story. I thought that it was cool how the computers kept communicating with the human. The computers also got depressed and i thought that was cool because it showed emotion.
